Phlebotomy mentoring

Personal support to help you build confidence after your initial phlebotomy training.

For learners and training providers

Comfort Care welcomes enquiries from newly trained phlebotomists, people returning to practice and training providers looking for follow-on learner support. Jodi-Ann brings phlebotomy experience since 2011 alongside experience in healthcare support and training.

What we can explore together

  • Preparing for a visit and communicating with the person having their blood taken.

  • Talking through equipment, sample handling and the requirements of your setting.

  • Building confidence with a calm, person-centred approach.

  • Reflecting on challenges and identifying your next learning goals.

  • Understanding professional boundaries and when to seek further supervision.

A session shaped around you

Tell us about your training, experience and the areas where you would like support. The format, location, scope and price are agreed before a session is booked. Any practical activity depends on a suitable setting, appropriate consent and agreed supervision.

Mentoring complements your training. It does not automatically provide a qualification, accreditation or clinical competency sign-off, or replace the requirements of your employer or training provider.

Work with Comfort Care

Training providers can enquire about individual learner support or a tailored mentoring arrangement. Please include your organisation, the number of learners and the kind of support you are looking for.
